Thanks to my one of my classes with Sharilyn Miller, I made all the sterling silver components in this necklace, including the wire wraps around my beads, the pendent "dependent," the chain and the clasp! What fun! The plain sterling beads are handmade by Karen Hilltribe folks in Thailand. I etched these beads for the soft stone-like look of the desert. The photo below shows the matching earrings.

The beads along the top have been etched with acid; the beads in the bottom row have not. Can you see the difference?
